Research, not testing
Our guides are based on research: manufacturer specifications, safety ratings stated by the brand, materials and construction details, and patterns in verified customer reviews. We do not test products hands-on and we do not claim to.
Independence
We earn commissions through affiliate links (see our Affiliate Disclosure). Brands do not pay for placement, and they do not review or approve our content before publication.
Accuracy and health information
We aim to describe products accurately and avoid claims we cannot support. We do not say that footwear treats, cures or prevents medical conditions. Content that touches on foot health is general information and not a substitute for advice from a doctor or podiatrist. Safety ratings are reported as stated by the manufacturer.
Updates
We review guides periodically to remove discontinued products and correct outdated information. When we make a meaningful change, we update the page; we do not change a page’s date without a real update.
