How we put our guides together
Our guides are based on research, not hands-on testing. We do not buy, wear or lab-test the products we list. We compare manufacturer specifications, published safety ratings and certifications (for example ASTM or CSA markings stated by the brand), materials and construction details, sizing information, and patterns in verified customer reviews.
